Latanae joined Dabdoub Law Firm after working nearly 13 years in insurance defense handling cases involving health, life and disability insurance and ERISA claims. After several years of representing insurance companies, Latanae made the big move to the plaintiff’s side, joining Dabdoub Law Firm to represent people in their fight for benefits.
Her Practice
Latanae has dedicated her legal career to litigating ERISA cases, including disability insurance, life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance coverage. She now uses her knowledge and expertise in this area of the law to help people get paid disability and life insurance benefits from their insurance company.
Education and Background
Latanae graduated cum laude from the University of Miami with degrees in motion pictures and psychology and a minor in photography. She then earned her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. After graduating from law school, she spent three years serving as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Anne C. Conway and the Honorable Gregory A. Presnell in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Latanae is a third generation Miami native who loves scuba diving, fishing and being on the water. She is an active volunteer with the POSSEE foundation, helping underserved youth receive full-tuition scholarships from colleges and universities around the country.
